No "open air smoking" park

And so not why I do not go there anymore

The "pissing forest" some calls it and the location for a bad experience, with some unsightly side benefits. A nature playground for children, where grown men (18+) take care of their drainage needs. Not that I want to go into all the details here, but a small stream of younger men came, while I was walking there alone taking pictures, caring for their needs, in front of me - a middle-aged woman.

This turned into a minor shit storm in a Facebook photo group, sharing a photo of some empty beer cans thrown between the trees and the story. People also drink too much when they use the city's parks, during the warm months of the year, just being a general nuisance. Among other things, it triggered comments such as, from, it is prohibited taking pictures in the park, to, when you (me, a woman) walk around with a camera taking pictures, you are asking for trouble, into, decided accusations of taking pictures of half-naked playing kids and men peeing. Even ignoring the fact that there is something wrong with the very phrase, half-naked children and pissing men in a playground - implied something is very wrong with someone who can't see the obvious wrong in the persons own words - men shouldn't open their pants in a playground full of kids, period!

No open air peeing, thank you very much, use the public toilets 4 meters in that direction, behind those trees!!! You know what, you can keep your park, in a place where the sun never shines, for all I care. And I am no longer a member of these facebook groups. nor am I on speaking terms with one of the mentioned facebook critics I know outside of it, out in the real world, nor will I ever be.
