All good intentions aside
I mostly think flying sand & the region's history with this

Talking to other residents in the area, some did mention indoor sand as a very annoying problem - you know, on the other side of the fjord, is a large Viking settlement and burial area, where the landscape is rather elevated compared to the fjord and centuries ago the area was covered by sand. Flying sand has been a known problem for centuries, so why invite it? To me that seems a bit odd, despite all good intentions.
